FAQs

We're here to help YOU but, occasionally, there are glitches in the system that are beyond our control.

SHIPPING POLICY

On SHINING 3D products, shipping is free on all items inside the provinces of Québec, New-Brunswick, Nova Scotia, P.E.I, Newfoundland and the Nunavut and Nunavik territories.

Items are usually shipped the same day and no later than the next day upon receiving confirmation of payment. 

Shipping usually takes 14 open days but ATHENA Technolo-G cannot be responsible for longer duration. Please use the Track your Order functionality in your Account profile.

For LOST PACKAGE, DAMAGED or MISSING Items during shipment, you MUST notify ATHENA Technolo-G by phone or by email [info@athenatechno.tech] within 14 open days upon receiving your shipment (or finding out through the Tracking system that the package was delivered at the wrong address) to initiate a damaged or lost package claim. You are required to keep all items, packaging material and boxes until the shipping carrier completes its investigation. We will interface with the carrier and help you out the best we can.

Freight orders set up by the customers are excluded from this policy.

Upon closure and reimbursement of faulty shipment by the carrier to the customer, the customer will be invited to once more place his order from ATHENA Technolo-G if he wishes to.

ATHENA Technologie-G will not provide refunds for any damaged or missing product under any circumstances as this is the carrier's responsibility. 

Shipping charges are also non-refundable as this is the carrier's responsibility as well.

RETURN POLICY

ATHENA Technolo-G will accept return of unopened and unused products within 90 days of the product's reception by the customer. ATHENA will refund the item's full paid price less the shipment fees upon reception of the unused product at ATHENA's delivery dept.

For SHINING 3D products, for a defective product upon reception, you MUST notify ATHENA Technolo-G by phone or by email [info@athenatechno.tech] within 14 open days upon receiving your shipment to initiate a free replacement if necessary. ATHENA may be able to troubleshoot the issue and avoid further procedures. If the problem cannot be resolved, ATHENA will replace the defective item within 7 open days upon reception of the defective part. ATHENA will cover the costs of shipping both ways. For a defective product inside the warranty period but past the 14 days following its reception, ATHENA may be able to troubleshoot the issue and avoid further procedures. If the problem cannot be resolved, ATHENA will replace the defective item within 7 open days upon reception of the defective part. ATHENA will cover the costs of outgoing shipping only. 

To determine if a product can be honoured by the SHINING 3D warranty policy, there will need to be:

  • No physical or liquid damage to the unit. (Other accessories such as damaged power sockets and tripods are not considered as warranty returnable items.)

  • No modification or improper attempt to repair was made to the unit by any other individual not dully authorized by SHINING 3D.

  • No damage due to use of incorrect voltage supply source.

  • No damage or violation of the warranty label affixed on the device.

  • Unit is still within the initial period of 12 months of standard warranty.

WARRANTY

For SHINING 3D products, ATHENA is simply honouring SHINING 3D's warranty and acting as an intermediary in Canada to better serve our customers. Following is SHINING 3D' warranty policy:
Warranty policy. SHINING 3D warrants for a period of Twelve (12) months standard warranty from the date of original purchase by the end user, with the following exceptions:

 

  1. If missing any proof of original purchase, the warranty will be taken from the shipping date from SHINING 3D in China.

  2. To determine if a product can be honoured by the SHINING 3D warranty policy, there will need to be:

  • No physical or liquid damage to the unit. (Other accessories such as damaged power sockets and tripods are not considered as warranty returnable items.)

  • No modification or improper attempt to repair was made to the unit by any other individual not dully authorized by SHINING 3D.

  • No damage due to use of incorrect voltage supply source.

  • No damage or violation of the warranty label affixed on the device.

PRICING POLICY

Website Price:

On rare occasions, erroneous pricing or availability listings may appear on our website. While we apologize for the inconvenience that such an error may cause, ATHENA reserves the right to correct inaccuracies at any time, with or without notice.

MAP Price :

SHINING 3D stipulate a Minimum Advertised Pricing policy. This prevents us from pricing these products any lower than what you see on the website. If we were to discount these products, we would be in direct violation with the agreement we have signed with SHINING 3D and would also potentially lose our status as authorized retailers; this goes the same for any authorized reseller in Canada. If you see a MAP product advertised for lower on another website, that retailer is not authorized to sell that product and you may not receive the manufacturer's warranty when you purchase from them.

Currency Exchange:

SHINING 3D prices are established in US currency which makes the Canadian pricings on EinScan products vulnerable to fluctuations in the currency exchange rate. This is why you will sometimes see sudden changes in price on the website. 

Due to the volatility of the Canadian dollar, we might not be able to update all prices right away. When this happens, we may need to charge you additional money in order to complete an order that you placed (otherwise, we will be losing money on the order). The additional charges will only cover the cost of the product (we will not be making a profit on the sale). If you do not wish to pay the differences, we can cancel the order with no questions asked. You will be refunded to your original method of payment.
